.... and here's mine which has ended up having 2 different styles - brighter paper on the top row, and richer tones below
Here are the papers - including 2 from last month that escaped the paper trimmer (Ha! Thought you'd reach the safety of the paper boxes did you? Back on the desk, both of you!). Top row has Echo Park, K&Co? QVC Oriental, Cloud 9, Anna Griffin and three American Crafts. On the left are three 8x8 from 7 Gypsies and two scraps from Brenda Pinnick. Bottom row has three Crate Paper and finally a Glitz Design
For the embellishments I added some bits of ribbon and some green bling. I tried making some flowers from a long forgotten pile of thin mulberry paper. I found doing the folded ones quite tricksy so moved on to tearing the others - which gave a lovely effect like feathers. I've topped them with some odd bits of flowers that I had made previously and the pink ones are layered on tulle and felt.
This month's inspiration kit had some sweet fabric yo-yos in and I loved making these. I've always heard that these are so easy to make but somehow never quite believed it - but trust me they are! I'll probably top them with a button or something later - but they are definitely my favourite bit of the homemade embellishments.
I also made a set of butterfly tags from different papers, images from a book, stickers and stamps (acrylic and postage!)
Finally I've added a sheet of images from Echo Park's Life is Good digital kit, a scrap of house paper from WRMK and a whole pile of odd stickers (some odder than others!). As usual I'll add cardstock and alphas (and any bits and pieces) to my kit as I need them
Almost forgot - I did a Halloween add on kit too! On the left the alphas and papers are all WRMK and on the right there's one and a half sheets from Pink Paislee (Twilight) and some off cuts from My Mind's Eye (Boo To You and Spider's Web) left over from last year's mini album
For embellishments I've added stamps, outline stickers, ribbon, felt and some left over die cuts. There's also a handful of flowers and some freebie downloads and a tag - and some owls and bling for good measure.
I'm really looking forward to using these new kits - I'm always amazed at what I can find in my stash. I know that I don't have anywhere near as much as some people but it still seems to go on and on - I love the fact that the Counterfeit Kit Challenge helps me use it up! I love that my albums are filling up even if the stash pile doesn't seem to shrink - and I'm having loads of fun on the way :)
Don't forget about our sponsor this month, Momenta. They are giving away a fab prize pack this month - so go see this post to find out how to win and go and have a browse.
